The importance of self-bailing cockpits is impressed on Grady-White craftsmen by North Carolina capes named "Lookout" and "Fear." SeaV2 hull designs are inspired by solid walls of white water across inlets like Hatteras and Oregon. And the attention to order and detail comes from fishing our boats from Canada to Australia. That's why every Grady-White cockpit is clear and uncluttered. Interior cockpit depth ensures safety and comfort. Even the 180 model has a cockpit depth of 22", and larger offshore models have up to 29" for sure-footed stand-up fishing. Our wide, deep walkarounds feature a vertical outer wall instead of sloping outboard. This gives your ankles support when moving forward.

Grady-White's founders believed that if they crafted boats "tougher than they had to be," that these smaller boats would stand up reliably to coastal waves and weather.
